Interactive Automotive Showcase
Unreal Engine
An interactive experience developed in Unreal Engine that allows users to freely explore a virtual showroom and examine vehicles from every angle. Inspired by the experience of visiting a real-world exhibition, the project provides intuitive controls for movement, zooming, and adjustable viewing height, making it easy to inspect each car in detail.
The concept aims to make rare and exclusive vehicles more accessible, as many are difficult to see in person due to limited exhibitions or geographic constraints. By creating a digital showroom, manufacturers could showcase their vehicles to anyone, anywhere.
Each vehicle can be interacted with, seamlessly transporting the user to a unique, bespoke environment without loading screens. These environments can be tailored to highlight the character and story of each car, creating a more immersive experience beyond the showroom itself.
From a technical perspective, the primary focus of this project was designing a scalable framework using Unreal Engine Blueprints. The system was built to make adding new vehicles straightforward while keeping the architecture modular and easy to expand. Although demonstrated with cars, the framework can be adapted for virtually any type of interactive exhibition or collection, making it a flexible foundation for future virtual showcase experiences.
