Back in my day you had to ask someone if you had a question and they’d probably give you a wrong answer. And you’d believe them! You couldn’t just google or whatever you youngsters do nowadays.
In “The Everything Hotline” you are the one handing out the wrong answers. The game’s pretty simple. You are left alone in a small office and you have to do all the work and since you’re working at a hotline that mostly means answering calls.
But you gotta be quick! People don’t have all day and tasks don’t finish themselves. You are under constant pressure to get everything done in time.
If you fail to do a task in time, that’s no good. If you select an especially bad dialogue option during a call, uh oh. Your performance is being monitored and if you don’t do well you’re gonna lose your job.
And that doesn’t sound very fun, huh?
Because it isn’t.
The game isn’t very fun.
Wouldn’t blame you for not playing.
