Description

Overrun is a jump in run game with the focus on a clean and polished movement. Use walljump to repel from walls and gain extra momentum. The player does not lose momentum, so once you reach a certain speed you can keep running and jump even higher. The game is structured into 7 unique levels with increasing difficulty. The levels are saved and loaded as binary files and the game features a build in level editor. You can use F2 to open it and modify levels and even build your own. As obstacles the game uses spikes. There also are boost pads that give you extra momentum. Most level also features a hidden secret, as a extra challenge. Controls: AD - Move E - Interact Esc - Main Menu Space or W - Jump/Walljump The game supports both keyboard and joystick input. This project was done as a MMP-1 for Multimedia Technology in 2026. It was programmed using C# SFML in the Jetbrains Rider IDE. The Sprites were created by rendering 3D models in Unity and exporting them in a spritesheet.
