Homebound

Homebound is a quirky little 2D Platformer with selfmade pixelart graphics! It focuses around using multiple Character with their own variety of abilities at the same time. With the right Synergy you can pass even the most impossible terrain!

The Story follows a mysterious Adventurer that stumbles upon a strange Frog. The Frog has somehow lost itself inside the Forest and is trying to find a way home. The Adventurer takes it to his heart to bring the poor Frog back home, but the Frog has no Idea where his Home even is.

In this Game you can even replay Levels in an Unlocked mode, where you can freely choose the Characters you want to take on your Journey! With enough Creativity, maybe other Synergies can beet the same Levels as other Characters were intended for!

At its core, Homebound is not only a Jump-n-Run Game, but a Strategy Jumper that forces you to think outside the box! Maps that seem impossible can be beaten by utilizing the different Characters various abilities! Its not just about timing, spacing or precision, but also about the thought process how to strategically use every Character to find your way home!

Another speciality is that you don't have to beat a Level in one go! You can pause and even quit, just to come back later! Homebound is not meant to be rushed, but to be enjoyed. Its not only about beating a level, but experiencing the story and atmosphere! Every Level is unique and will give you enough time to enjoy it!

The Frog has lost his way home, so the Adventurer took it to his heart to bring the Frog back. But the Frog doesn't even know where he came from... But together, they'll find a way, no matter where they go!

A mysterious black figure that wandered through the forest. After he heard rumbling in the bushes, he found the Frog, whom he promised to bring back home!

The Adventurer has 2 abilities. He can grab other Characters, carry them and throw then to safety! His distinct ability is that he can also jump off of other Characters, making them his mobile launch-pad!

I guess the poor Frog will have to take this...

Somehow this little fella ended up inside a bush in a surreal forest! He seems lost and doesn't even know where to go, or where his Home is. Luckily, the brave Adventurer found him!

The Frog also comes with his own abilities! He is able to pull other Characters closer using his tongue, launching them towards places they could not reach themselves. To strengthen this, his unique trait allows him to scale walls! Whereas he cannot jump, he sticks to any surface flawlessly!

You will encounter more friends on your journey. Unlock new Characters and select them on the menu! They will follow you and help you find your way home!

Each Level cannot be beaten alone! If you are playing Story or Freeplay, you can only find your way home as a team! Each character has their own abilities and traits, so use them to your best!
