Dino Disco

This 2D rhythm platformer combines the nostalgic charm of classic arcade games with a completely wild, prehistoric premise. Instead of fighting your way through gray caves, the player finds themselves right in the middle of the most energetic dance floor the prehistoric era has ever seen. Yet, behind the glittering facade, the game packs a ruthless architectural and gameplay challenge.

In Dino Disco the player takes over the role of a dinosaur, dancing in a club, only to find that the party is on the verge of ultimate escalation. This project demonstrates how engaging gameplay and precise level design merge into an absolutely addictive overall experience.

As soon as you enter the virtual underground club, you are hit by a wave of pure 80s vibes and vibrant pixel art. Dark, millions-of-years-old stone structures and rugged cave walls form the backdrop for a true firework of colors featuring bright neon cyan, glowing magenta, and intense yellow. Everywhere in the background, you can see other dinosaurs jumping up and down to the beat of the music, swinging their hips, and cheering the player on. This visual spectacle is accompanied by a driving soundtrack whose thumping basslines get right under your skin.

The music is blasting, the lights are flashing wildly, and the heat of the rising lava is already on your face. There is no turning back now! Do you have the necessary sense of rhythm and the nerves of steel to dodge the extending spikes, outsmart the pulsing speakers, and reach the saving platform at the top of the cave?
