This project involves composing and producing the soundtrack for the official 20 Years Film Department reel of FH Salzburg, which will premiere at the opening of the new production hall in Salzburg. The goal is to create a musical journey that celebrates two decades of creativity and innovation in film education. Concept: The composition follows the emotional arc of the video: • Intro: Calm and atmospheric — setting a reflective and elegant tone. • Cinematic Part: Expanding into a powerful orchestral sound to emphasize the history and achievements of the department. • Electronic / Experimental Part: Introducing modern, forward-thinking textures representing progress, technology, and the future of filmmaking. • Outro: Returning to a calm and intimate mood, closing the piece with warmth and balance. Because the video is already fully edited, I need to adapt the music tot he video, which is a little challenge. Goal: To create a cohesive and emotionally engaging soundtrack that enhances the visual narrative, connects past and future, and represents the spirit of the Film Department. Duration: Aligned with the final video length (approx. 3 minutes).
