The Movie:

The Goo

An animated horror short film

The GOO is an animated horror short film that tells its story without dialogue or conventional interactions. Instead, it follows an extraterrestrial being, a strange, fluid-like entity, as it arrives on Earth. A small meteor enters Earth’s atmosphere and crashes into a coastal cliff. The impact breaks through the rock, creating a hole in the wall of a hidden cave inside the cliff. Inside the cave, the meteor shatters, revealing something strange, an extraterrestrial lifeform. But this is no solid creature. Instead, it is a shifting, liquid-like being, constantly changing its shape. The iridescent fluid moves through the cave, exploring its surroundings and adapting to the new environment. At first, it seems peaceful, but there is something unsettling about it. This alien is not harmless. Its true nature becomes clear when it comes into contact with other living things. Deep inside the cave, a small shrew scurries across the rocky floor, unaware of the danger ahead. It pauses, sniffing the air, just as the shifting liquid moves closer. Within moments, the creature's fate is sealed.
