The industry project was conducted in collaboration with Sproof, a company specializing in digital signing solutions. The focus was on enhancing Sproof’s Fastlane product, which automates document signing processes for businesses and individuals. The goal was to identify new use cases and develop prototypes to improve functionality and user experience, addressing specific pain points in digital contract management.
The project began with a kick-off meeting to align on goals and expectations, followed by market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation. User research was conducted through surveys to gather insights on pain points and potential improvements. Based on the findings, three main use cases were developed:
University Attendance Tracking: A QR code-based system to automate attendance tracking for lectures, reducing administrative burden. Room Rental Contract + AI: AI-powered tools for contract summarization, translation, and autofill functionality to simplify rental contract processes. Fastlane Profile Creator via UI: An intuitive interface for creating and managing user profiles, eliminating the need for technical expertise.Prototypes for each use case were created using Figma and refined through user testing and feedback. The final deliverables included high-fidelity prototypes and detailed documentation, presented to Sproof as actionable solutions to enhance Fastlane’s functionality and user experience.
The project emphasized user-centered design, agile methodologies, and collaboration with Sproof’s team. It provided valuable insights into integrating AI into digital solutions and highlighted the importance of addressing real-world user needs. The outcomes aimed to strengthen Sproof’s competitive edge in the digital signing industry by offering innovative, user-friendly features.
