A MMP1 Look-Dev project

What we show at the MMP1 determines who we are grouped with for our MMP2, so for this project I decided to put my technical skills in the spotlight to show my technical know how and problem solving abilities. For this project I decided to use the program I am most proficient with: Blender EEVEE. Every single image (background, models, shaders, effects) was entirely done in Blender. Only the FH Logo was later added in After Effects. Even the scene switches were done with code and animated drivers in Blender. With the rise of AI, I see the importance of originality not only in stories but also style. I was inspired by the Impressionist movement in reaction to the new technology of photography. Since the late 2010s more and more stylized animation is popping up and I wanted to enter that conversation by creating this Look-Dev project, where I tried to create different looking shaders for the same scene. I didn't want everything to be on the same object though, so I could also showcase a wide range of my ability to model, rig, pose and simulate in simple, but appealing styles.
