MMP1 - Around The Corner

(ger) „Around the Corner“: eine visuelle Inszenierung einer scheinbar menschenleeren zerstörten Stadt, ein apokalyptisches Setting. Was ist passiert? Ist da wirklich niemand? Mittels Environmental Storytelling entstehen bei Rezipient:innen mögliche Geschichten und Szenarien. Gefühle wie Beklommenheit, Neugier und ein latentes Unbehagen mischen sich beim Blick um die nächste Ecke. Ihre Fantasie wird durch die vertraut aber zugleich so fremd wirkende Welt angeregt. Die besten Geschichten entstehen im Kopf. (eng) “Around the Corner”: A visual staging of a seemingly deserted, destroyed city - an apocalyptic setting. What happened here? Is there truly no one left? Through environmental storytelling, viewers are encouraged to imagine their own stories and scenarios. Emotions such as unease, curiosity, and a subtle sense of dread arise when peeking around the next corner. Their imagination is sparked by a world that feels familiar, yet strangely alien. The best stories are the ones that unfold in the mind.
