Geesebeart's Quest

Welcome to Geesebeart’s Quest, a charming yet challenging turn based dungeon crawler, inspired by the likes oft he „Mystery Dungeon“ games. Jump into the hand-drawn 2D-world and help Geesebeart, a young and brave bear, in his quest to rescue his friends. Geesebearts friends, a group of geese, have been kidnapped by some mean ghosts who now hold them captive at the ruins of an old castle. Your goal is to sneak through those abandoned halls, find your friends and bring them tot he exit – all while carefully avoiding beeing seen by any ghosts.

Your first task ist o locate and pick up Geesebearts friend. Pay close attention tot he ghosts though, if they see you, you are done. Watch their moves and look for openings in their paths, and exploit blind spots to sneak past them undetected. There is no rush, so take your time to come up with the perfect plan – you cannot fight them, but you can just avoid them.

No need to worry though, you do not need to outrun them all the time. Geesebeart still has a trick up his sleeve. His cloak allows him to go back in time a few turns – maybe you can juke the ghosts in ways only time-travel could ever allow you to? Be aware though, as the unstable nature of the cloak means it will take a while before you can use this trick again. And do not forget to track your own steps, or you might find yourself going back in time just to appear directly in front of a ghost.

And even the geese are not entirely helpless in this mission. Every time you collect a goose, you unlock a second option to help you avoid those pesky ghosts, but this one can only be used once (or can it?), so choose wisely when to use it. As it turns out, those geese know just the perfect thing to safely distract a ghost, at least for a little while – the perfect opening to sneak past without being seen. Can you help Geesebeart on his rescue mission – or will you find yourself h(a)unted by ghosts around the ruins?
