As part of my university project, I developed an innovative cocktail website that allows users to create and search for cocktails. This platform offers an easy-to-use interface and extensive features that appeal to both cocktail enthusiasts and hospitality industry professionals. The technical implementation was realized using React for the front-end and Java Spring Boot for the back-end.
Motivation
The primary motivation behind this project was technical: I aimed to deepen my skills in modern web technologies such as React and Java Spring Boot while developing a practical application that provides real value. Many existing cocktail websites are often confusing or offer limited search options. Therefore, there was a need to develop a more user-friendly solution.
Features

Users can create their own cocktails by selecting from a variety of ingredients. Users can choose from the base spirit to the various mixes and garnishes. The created cocktails can be saved and shared with other users.
Cocktail Search:
The website offers a search function that allows cocktails to be found based on various criteria. Users can filter by ingredients, glasses, or garnishes to find the perfect cocktail that suits their preferences.
User Profiles:
Users can create their own profiles, save their favorite cocktails, and leave ratings.
Conclusion
The project was an excellent opportunity to expand my technical skills and develop a practical application. The combination of React and Java Spring Boot proved to be highly effective for creating a dynamic and powerful cocktail website.
