Panta Rhei is an isometric combat-based action roguelite featuring adventure elements combining player power progression with unique time-manipulation mechanics.
The player has the ability to spawn clones of themself, called Echos. These can be utilised during combat situations, enabling the player to unleash powerful multi-attack-combos together with their ability to walk backwards in time.
It takes place in two different worlds - The Estuary representing order and safety, and the Realm of Time, an ever-changing, otherworldly dimension full of mystery.

At the start of every run the explorable map is procedurally generated. In consideration of the current story progress, the generator sets up a collection of available locations that the player will be able to visit. This way we avoid repetitive gameplay and ensure that every run has the potential to reveal new game content from the start.
Panta Rhei’s art style is simple and stylized with an emphasis on shape flow. The primary focus of the visual and auditive design is to convey the differences between the two contrasting worlds.
