MMP2 - Nexus

Nexus is connections. The word comes from nectere, a Latin verb meaning “to bind.” This performance in tends to create an atmosphere that allows the audience to participate and collaborate to generate a singular meaningful experience. The main aim is to develop a reciprocal sensibility, needed even in daily life but often underestimated. The dynamics that evolve among the students in the University point to strengthening interpersonal abilities and connecting each other to cooperate and achieve new and more complex results together than working alone. In this project, light, visuals, music and interactive platforms are combined and used as a tool to merge the building with the viewers. The ambition is to underline the importance and singularity of every person’s decision and its rule in the whole picture. Along with the value of the single individual, the interchange of information and knowledge brings new perspectives and awareness of what surrounds us. The same happens in this project: collaboration, individuality and exchange make possible the creation of an acoustic and visual atmosphere that is permanently unique and in constant metamorphosis.
