Love and hate are bound together - this idiom doesn't only apply to lovers but also to murder. The torment between blissful relief and deep regret seems difficult to grasp. Though it is his hatred that kills his victim, his love for the old man is causing the murdererd heart to beat once more. "The tell-tale heart" is based on Edgar Allan Poe's masterpiece and is a free interpretation of that story by young film students at FH Salzburg, Austria.
