Studies have found that spending time in simulated natural environments can help recover from stress and attention fatigue faster as well as promote positive self-report. A study in Sweden additionally found that spending time in a flotation tank (simulated natural environment) can even have positive effects on stress-related disorders such as burnout or depression.
