Beesy

In this project, we are presenting a solution for an efficient and fun way of communicating meeting/cam/mic status with the household without using eyes or gestures, or needing to warn them one by one when working or studying from home. As in recent years the tendency or necessity of working/studying from home increased suddenly, this created challenges especially on communication within the households. As we noticed one of the challenges people face is communicating their microphone or camera status when they need to join a meeting from common areas, we built a decorative and fun solution for this with Beesy. Beesy is an hexagon light resource for individual use which allows the users to indicate if they are only working or silently listening to a meeting, if they are actively participating in a meeting, or they turn their cameras on in a meeting with LED lights and marbles. As a result, there is no more wasting time with telling each person that you will join a meeting and turn your microphone on for some time. Now, it will be visible from your Beesy even from a distance. Moreover, when no one is working, all Beesies can come together to give a nice and decorative aspect to the living room with wooden beehive shapes.
