"Emotional pain is not something that should be hidden away and never spoken about. There is truth in your pain, there is growth in your pain, but only if it's first brought out into the open."
- Steven Aitchison
Nowadays diversity is more important and present than ever. But is not just about race, sexuality, religion and all the other visible differences. People’s mental condition shouldn’t be overlooked when it comes to diversity.
Even in the 21st century it is still not common for people to openly talk about mental health – despite a large number of people are suffering in silence.
We’ve made it our mission to raise awareness, inform and encourage discussions about this important topic, by designing shirts under the slogan “Ich fühle was, was du nicht siehst”, roughly translated to “I feel something, that you can’t see” (it refers to the German version of the children’s game “I spy with my little eye”).
Because behind a seemingly healthy and happy mask, often lays a lot more. And even though you can’t spy someone’s mental state with the naked eye, it doesn’t mean their feelings are non-existent.
So, let us all be a bit kinder and more considerate. You never know what battle someone might be fighting with themselves.
