Reinventing the Wooden Beer Barrel

This master thesis was developed in cooperation with the wood techology programme at the FH Salzburg. Due to be served in elite gastronomy nowadays, beer needs new ways of presentation and storage as a result from this trend. The new wooden barrel is a mix of tradition, engineering and design. It is highly ecological and can be produced, handled and stacked better than traditional barrels. The prototype was tested and approved and the entire corporate identity and market strategy developed.
