Boby Container Re-Design

The aim of this project was to modernize the Boby Container by Joe Colombo from 1970 and to make it more sustainable. To achieve this, a BIO plastic made of carbon dioxide polymers was chosen as the material for the new Boby Container. It was designed to consist of as few individual parts as possible. It consists of a base frame, the top plate, the castors and five drawers in two different sizes. A number of technical extensions were integrated into the new Boby container, which are housed in its top plate. These technical extensions give the container additional functionality and thus making everyday office life easier.
