Friendly Domination is a local hotseat 1v1 strategy game controlled with gamepads. In rounds of 8 minutes you try to dominate your opponent on 3 lanes. To do so you send units on those lanes which capture sections and fight enemy units. The captured sections increase your map domination. On captured sections you can construct resource buildings or towers. There are resource buildings for iron, wood and food. These resources are needed for constructing new buildings and recruiting new units. There are 4 different unit types which counter each other. The cavalry for example is faster and more effective against archers and footman, but suffers more damage from spearman.
You start with a fixed resource budget and a low fixed income, also each player controls the first section on each lane. Each player has a barrack on every lane, where new units can be recruited. The units follow the lane and capture new sections automatically, when they face enemy troops or buildings they start fighting them. On Every captured section you can build ONE resource building to increase your income or a tower for defense. After 8 minutes the player with the higher domination percentage wins the game.
